Elevadores Alamex ("Alamex"), located at Av. Tláhuac 219, Mexico City, ZIP 09847, is responsible for the personal data collected through this online store, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

Identification and contact data: name, email, phone and company. Delivery and billing data: addresses and, if you request it, your invoicing details. Order and quote data: products, quantities, amounts and their tracking.

Technical data: IP address (to know which country you visit from and show you the right version of the store) and the browser information needed to keep your session and cart. We do not collect sensitive personal data and we never receive or store your card details.

Necessary (primary) purposes: creating and managing your account and verifying your email; handling your quotes and advisory requests (including identifying a part from the photo you upload, analyzed by an artificial-intelligence service and kept only to serve you); answering your questions in the online advisor chat, which uses artificial intelligence and, if you ask or leave your email or phone, hands the conversation to one of our advisors; processing, charging, preparing and delivering your orders; quoting shipping; sending you notices about your order or quote (including a single reminder about a cart or quote you left pending) and answering the questions you ask about products; handling warranties, clarifications and returns (including the photos of the part you upload); publishing the review you leave, only with your first name, the initial of your last name and, if you write them, your company and city (your email is never published); and complying with legal and tax obligations.

Additional (secondary) purposes: sending you product information, promotions and service surveys. If you do not want your data used for these purposes, email info@alam.mx; this will not affect your purchases or quotes.

Card payments are processed by Stripe, which complies with the PCI-DSS security standard. You type your card into a Stripe field: Alamex never sees or stores it.

We only share your data with the providers that help us run the store and only for the purposes of this notice: the payment processor (Stripe), the carrier that delivers your order, the hosting provider of the store, the email service we use to send you notices, the artificial-intelligence service that answers the chat and identifies part photos (OpenAI, only to generate the answer), the service that checks your tracking number with the carrier (17TRACK, tracking number only) and, if you choose "Continue with Google", Google for your sign-in. These providers may not use your data for their own purposes.

We do not sell or rent your data. We would only hand it to an authority when a law or a court order requires it.

We use cookies and browser storage that are essential to remember your session, cart, quote list, favorites and country. Only if you accept in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics to measure visits in aggregate (anonymized IP, no ad personalization). You can change your choice at any time under «Cookie preferences» at the bottom of every page, or delete cookies in your browser; some store features may stop working.

You have the right to access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your data (ARCO rights), to revoke your consent and to limit its use or disclosure.

To exercise them, email info@alam.mx with your name, a way to reply to you, a copy of your ID (or your legal representative's and the document proving it), a clear description of your request and any supporting documents. We will answer within 20 business days and, if applicable, carry it out within the following 15 business days.

You can also correct your contact details at any time in "My account → My details". If you believe your right to data protection was violated, you may contact the competent authority.

We may update this document due to changes in the law, our services or our practices. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
